About Giant Pandas

Pandasare black and white bears native to South Central China. They spend 10 -16 hours a day eating 12 - 38kg of bamboo, in order to meet their energy need. 99% of their diet are bamboo shoots and leaves. Due to habitat loss and poachers, the panda population suffered and was listed as endangered species. After years of protection, the giant panda’s status change to “Vulnerable.”
